Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Invincible FC (“we”, “us”, “the app”) is a football prediction game operated by Invinciblefc, contactable at Invinciblefcapp@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:

• Account info: email address, username, password (encrypted)
• Gameplay data: your weekly team picks, league memberships, scores, and history
• Usage data: pages visited, device/browser type, approximate location (via IP), collected automatically through analytics tools
• Communications: anything you send us directly (support emails, feedback)

We do not collect payment card details directly — if payments are introduced in future, these are handled by a third-party processor (e.g. Stripe) who never shares full card details with us.

3. How we use it

• To run your account and track your picks/league standings
• To show you relevant leaderboards and league tables
• To understand how the app is used, so we can improve it (via analytics)
• To serve advertising (see Section 6)
• To contact you about important changes to the app or your account

4. Legal basis (UK/EU users)

Where UK/EU data protection law (UK GDPR) applies, we process your data on the basis of: performing our contract with you (running your account), our legitimate interests (improving the app, preventing abuse), and, where required, your consent (e.g. for non-essential cookies and ads).

5. Third-party services we use

• Lovable / Supabase — application hosting and database
• Google Analytics / Plausible — usage analytics
• Football-Data.org / API-Football — live football results (no personal data shared with them)
• Stripe — payments, if/when introduced

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policy; we only share what’s needed for them to perform their function.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site and measure usage. We don’t currently serve advertising on the site. You can control cookie preferences via your cookie banner tool and your browser settings. Because we use analytics cookies, we show a cookie consent banner before non-essential cookies are set.

7. Data sharing

We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers above, or if required by law.

8. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for backups and legal compliance, after which it’s deleted or anonymised.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing (including ads). Contact Invinciblefcapp@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

10. Children

Invincible FC is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some EU countries). We don’t knowingly collect data from children below this age.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be flagged in-app or by email.
