The basic idea
A football season has 38 gameweeks. In each one, you back exactly one club. Whatever that club earns in its match, you earn too: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and nothing for a defeat. Your points add up over the season, and you're ranked in a league table alongside the real clubs.
The name comes from Arsenal's famous 2003–04 "Invincibles", who went all 38 league games unbeaten. Matching that — 38 picks, zero losses — is the ultimate goal.
The twice-a-season rule
If you could pick the strongest club every week the game would be easy. So you can only use each club twice per season: once when they play at home and once when they play away. Once you've used a club's home pick, it's gone for the rest of the season — even if they have an easy home game later.
The pick screen shows which clubs you've used and which halves (home or away) you still have. Clubs you can't pick are greyed out.
Never getting stuck
Because every club can only be used twice, it's possible to paint yourself into a corner late in the season — reaching gameweek 37 with no legal pick left. Invincible checks every pick against the remaining fixtures. If choosing a club now would leave you without a valid pick in a future week, that option is greyed out and explained, so your season can always be completed.
Game modes
Daily Challenge
A brand-new season is generated every day at midnight UK time, and everyone plays the same one. You get one attempt. Keep picking until your first defeat — your score is the number of gameweeks you stayed unbeaten, up to 38. You'll see yesterday's score and your best-ever score to aim at, your daily streak, and what percentage of players you beat. The top results appear on the daily leaderboard.
Quick Play
Generated results, no waiting. Play all 38 gameweeks in one sitting and restart as often as you like. Each attempt produces new results, but they're weighted by real team strength: strong clubs win more often, though upsets still happen. Finish seasons to unlock trophies in your Trophy Cabinet — the Invincible season, league titles, Champions League places, unbeaten streaks of 20, 25, 30 and 35 weeks, and the wooden spoon.
Live season (coming later)
A mode tied to real Premier League fixtures and results with a mini-league for friends is planned. Until it's ready, Daily Challenge and Quick Play are the ways to play.
Accounts and saving
You can play without an account; your progress is saved on that device. Signing in saves your seasons, Daily Challenge history, streak and trophies so you can carry on from any device, and lets your name appear on the daily leaderboard. Signed-in players on iPhone or Android can also add Invincible to their home screen and turn on a morning reminder when the new Daily Challenge starts.
