Every club can only be picked twice a season — once at home, once away. That's 40 picks for 38 gameweeks, so you only have two to spare. The question each week isn't just "who will win?" but "is this the best week to use this pick?"
The late-season squeeze
Most runs that end badly end between gameweeks 25 and 35. By then the easy picks are gone and every option left feels like a coin flip. Players who saved one or two strong home picks for that stretch get through it far more often.
A simple rule of thumb
Use a top club's home pick on its easiest home fixture of the season, not its first one. For away picks, be even more careful — an away trip to a mid-table side is riskier than it looks.
Don't forget draws
In the Daily Challenge only a defeat ends your run. In a tricky week, pick the club least likely to lose, not the one most likely to win big.
